Embedded & IoT
Microcontrollers, sensors, communication protocols, real-time systems and connected devices: how hardware and software work together.
What you are tested on
- GPIO, ADC and PWM
- UART, I2C and SPI
- Interrupts and timers
- RTOS and low-power design
- MQTT and connecting devices to the cloud
How your Embedded & IoT rating works
You start at 1200. Each timed, rated test moves your Embedded & IoT rating up or down, the way chess ratings move. Recruiters see the number and the band (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert), so they can judge your skill before reading a résumé. See a sample profile.
Questions about Embedded & IoT
Do I need an electronics degree for embedded jobs?
It helps, but many CSE students move into embedded and IoT by learning C, a microcontroller board and the basics of electronics.
What projects impress recruiters?
A working device with a write-up: a weather station, a smart plant monitor or a home sensor that sends data to a dashboard.
