Aptitude Roadmap for Campus Placements
The aptitude round is the very first filter at most campus drives (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture) — this is the order IndiaBix/PrepInsta-style resources recommend covering the 4 sections in.
Campus Placement Roadmap (TCS · Infosys · Accenture · Wipro)
The online assessments of the big IT hirers follow one pattern: numerical, reasoning, verbal, pseudocode and a coding round. This plan covers each section in the order that earns marks fastest.
How your Aptitude rating works
You start at 1200. Each timed, rated test moves your Aptitude rating up or down, the way chess ratings move. Recruiters see the number and the band (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert), so they can judge your skill before reading a résumé. See a sample profile.
Questions about Aptitude
How long should aptitude practice take?
Thirty focused minutes a day for a month moves most students noticeably.
Is aptitude asked after the first round?
Mostly in the first round, but a poor score there ends the process, so it matters.
