Aptitude Preparation for Campus Drives: A 30-Day Plan

By the Codveri team ·

A simple month-long plan for quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability and data interpretation.

Why aptitude decides the first cut

Many drives start with an aptitude test, and a low score ends your process before anyone reads your code. The questions are not hard, but they are timed, so speed with accuracy is the skill.

Week 1: quantitative basics

Percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest. Learn the shortcuts but understand why they work. Do 25 questions a day with a timer.

Week 2: more quantitative and data interpretation

Time and work, time-speed-distance, permutations and combinations, probability. Add one data interpretation set a day: read the chart first, then the question.

Week 3: logical reasoning

Series, coding-decoding, blood relations, seating arrangements, syllogisms and puzzles. Draw a diagram for every arrangement question.

Week 4: verbal and full mocks

Reading comprehension, sentence correction, fill-in-the-blanks and para-jumbles. Take two full mixed mocks this week and review every wrong answer.

Daily routine

Thirty to forty-five minutes: one timed set, then fifteen minutes reviewing mistakes in a notebook. Review that notebook every Sunday. Codveri's aptitude section has explanations for each question.
